Environmental factors such as humidity or lack of can cause yules to burn more vigorously at times and all naturally occurring factors such as how flammable certain materials may be.

Per our recommendation you should always light your candle and keep it in sight.  We are not responsible for user error, unwise fire safety, or inability to follow tested and provided instruction.
