Shrimp Cakes


1 lb shrimp, cut up into small pieces

1 1/4 cups pork rinds, in breaded form

2 tablespoons hot sauce

2 large eggs, mixed

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped fine

2 tablespoons green onion, chopped thin

1 lemon, zested and juiced

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 cup oil for frying

Lemon wedges for garnish

Ingredients & Directions for Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayo

1/2 lemon juiced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

1 tablespoon green onion, sliced thin

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper

In a medium size bowl add all the ingredients and mix well, refrigerate until needed.


Cut the shrimp into small cubed pieces and set aside.

In a large bowl add all the ingredients, stir gently to combine.

Form the mixture into about 8/10 patties, you can use an ice cream scooper to help you size out each portion.

In a large pan add the oil and heat to medium/high, once the oil is hot you can start adding he patties.

Cook for 4/5 minutes per side or until golden brown, remember to flip them gently to avoid any breakage.

Plate and serve with the dill sauce and lemon wedges!
