Easy Inst-Pot Marinara Sauce

This marinara sauce is a great base for anything. You can make a big pot and freeze it in individual containers for up to 3 months! I use mine for lasagna, chicken, seafood, you name it!

If you like spicy marinara sauce just add a jalapeño or two and it will do the trick.


1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 white onion, chopped

6 garlic cloves, chopped

3 cans of crushed tomatoes - 28 ounce cans

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 bay leaves

1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon crushed black pepper

1 teaspoon basil

1 tablespoon sugar


Turn your Insta-pot to sauté once hot add your olive oil, onion & garlic.

Add your crushed tomatoes and give it a good mix.

Add in everything else and mix again.

Turn your pot to pressure cook on medium for 15 minutes.

Give it a good mix and your ready to serve!
