Butter Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 1/8 cups almond flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons cold butter

4 large eggs (whites only)

1/2 cup cheese (cheddar)

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder



Directions:


Preheat oven to 400 degrees


In a medium sized bowl mix together the almond flour, salt, cheese & baking powder. Add the cold butter and mix together until crumbly consistency, set aside.


In a small bowl add you're egg whites and mix well for about a minute or so.


Add your egg mixture to the flour mixture and mix to combine the ingredients but try not to over mix the dough.


Put the mix in the fridge for 15/20 minutes to chill.


Drop 4-6 neat spoonfuls of the batter onto a lined baking sheet or you can use a muffin pan but make sure its greased really well.


Bake for 12/15 minutes or until golden brown.


Serve with whipped butter or no sugar jam for the win!
